The Faculty of Engineering (FOE) of MMU has a new dean. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Sze Wei is the new dean of FOE.
After leading the faculty for almost 11 years, Prof. Chuah Hean Teik mentioned that is time for him to move on in his professional career. Personally, I thought Prof. Chuah is a very very very caliber person in almost all aspect that I know of. I sincerely want to thank him for everything he has done for me in my baby life as an academician. I’m a bit sad for his departure from FOE but well….life goes on. And I sincerely wish him all the best. Although both of us are not close on personal level, I respect him as my boss (now former boss) and as my indirect mentor.
MMU FOE Dean, 1996-2008
Welcome aboard Dr. Lee as the new dean. He has been the acting dean whenever Prof. Chuah is away. I believe strongly he will be a good dean. I’m looking forward to work him as my new boss when I come back from my study leave. My sincere congratulation and best wishes for Dr. Lee in leading FOE.
